From Loss to Light: Transforming All Our Griefs
All of us are grieving something, having passed during our lives through at least a few of what Francis Weller calls “the Gateways of Grief”: the loss of those we love, and of relationships, dreams and hopes. We grieve what we never received: love, safety, support. We carry the suffering world, as well as ancestral grief, deep in our bones.
Come explore your griefs as sacred activism. How have your experiences shaped you into the unique manifestation of transformative, divine energy the world needs, right now? In the shelter of each other and enlivened by the energy of Spring, we will examine the deep roots of our fertile griefs, and embrace the New Life sprouting and budding in each of us.

“Grief is the work of mature men and women. The gift of grief is the affirmation of life and of our intimacy with the world…it stirs the heart, and is the song of a soul alive.” –Weller, The Wild Edge of Sorrow
